Who We Are
We're a small team who love - and live for - User Generated Content. One of us crowd-sourced their first child's name (RRS Boaty McBoatface was mysteriously the winner), another of us only watches original YouTube content and piously eschwes theaters / Netflix / TV (and misses nearly all cultural references as a result... we have nothing to talk about with that one). Yet another team member lives every minute of their life posting to some social network - meals to Instagram, fashion to Pinterest, inside jokes to Snapchat, curmudgeonly cynicism to Facebook, news to Twitter, and to Google+... nothing... no one anywhere posts anything to Google+, not even Larry Paige).
We're a team motivated by the belief that User Generated Content is democratizing the internet. Reviews have made products better (and put sh--ty companies out of business). Ratings have made car rides more enjoyable (at least on Lyft). Photos of real customers have made websites more relatable (if, perhaps, they've put many a Derek Zoolander out of work). We love stories of real people, and when companies give their customers a voice (or text or face) as part of their brand.
This site is dedicated to better understanding how companies can do more of this.
We have a combined 34 years in the marketing space with an emphasis on User Generated Content. We do this all day long anyways, so one day decided we may as well spend our nights and weekends on this anyways. Not saying it was a good idea, but we're nothing if not committed.
Meet the Team
"It's not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me."
Founder & CEO
Not really on the team but her photo (and name) came with our website template. The name is suspiciously fraudulent, but her taste in necklaces is solid.
Not part of the team either, but we'd grab a beer with him. He's got an honest face, though must be desperate enough to pose for stock photo companies.
Timothy's not part of the team either, but that smirk... that smirk shows that he knows what's up. Timothy, fill out the "contact us" form and we'll happily make you part of the team (though CFO is taken).
Where Do We Go Now...
Have a UGC campaign you think we should cover? Got a burning question related to User Generated Content? Want to tell us what a great job we're doing? We'd love to hear from you. Well, not all of us would, but majority rules on this. Drop us a line.
