This overview was last updated in July 2017.
With over 352 companies using Pixlee (as reported by Datanyze), and featuring some impressive Blue Chip clients (Diet Coke, Air New Zealand, and Kenneth Cole name just a few), Pixlee is an established and reliable company for small to medium sized companies (and potentially the big guys too). Pixlee has a long track record in the space, and beautiful implementations. Overall this seems like a solid pick for both technology and services.
Collect: 4 out of 5
Pixlee covers the bases in terms of content aggregation. They’ve got quality Digital Rights Management, and the ability to pull in content from an unlimited number of hashtags.
Although their website says that they allow on website content submission, we were unable to find actual websites doing so. As a result, we’ve given them a 4 out of 5, but have high hopes of seeing an example soon so that we can kick the up to a 5.
Manage: 5 out of 5
From the screenshots on their website, the user interface is beautiful. We’ve also heard great things from Pixlee customers in terms of their platforms ease-of-use, as well as their customer support (and friendly team in general). Their advanced analytics, as well as ability to conduct one-to-one customer conversations also deserves special note.
Display: 4 out of 5
Pixlee’s displays are interactive, original, and there’s a fair amount of variety in them. They have solid integrations for website (homepage, gallery, Product Detail Pages), as well as shoppable Instagram (Heart2Cart.it). They also have great email integration and the ability to post directly to social channels.
The main reason for the 4 out of 5 is that they do not appear to have ad integration or in-store display options that the largest vendors in the space offer.
Based on the quality of Pixlee’s platform, we believe that their pricing is actually incredible reasonable, and terrific value for what you receive. Additionally, we appreciate that they offer month-to-month pricing in a space where (at least amongst the larger companies) annual contracts are a must.
- Social Edition: up to 50,000 module views per month, the ability to add throughout your website and also include shoppable Instagram.
- $399 per month (15% discount for annual contract)
- $479 per month with Email Integration (15% discount for annual contract)
- Commerce Edition: up to 200,000 module views per month, the ability to add throughout your website and also include shoppable Instagram. Additionally includes conversion analytics.
- $899 per month (15% discount for annual contract)
- $1,079 per month with Email Integration (15% discount for annual contract)
Optional add-ons include:
- Online Team Training: $500
The reason we’ve given Pixlee a 4.5 out of 5 on pricing is due to not disclosing their pricing on their website.
